The Mamba made their first moves of the young off-season by trading rewards points to Denver to acquire their 2029 1st Round Pick & then proceeds to move that pick along w/ sharpshooter sophomore Dana Adams (LA's 1st Rd Pick last season, 12th Pick Overall) & prospect big Brian Sides for former #3 Pick overall 2 seasons ago in versatile defensive combo forward Josh Morris & Miami's 2030 2nd Rd Pick.

The Mamba has always been high on J-Mo (Josh Morris) as he was reportedly #2 on their draft list back in the 2027 draft where they selected 6'8" PG Reginald Martin but after a season w/ the Mamba, he became a casualty of high ambition for the franchise when he was dealt along w/ draft picks to Calgary for uber-athletic All-Star defensive wing Terrell Sherill who helped the Mamba win their 1st ring.

J-Mo like Martin was also bounced around early as he was dealt to Miami after a season as well, subsequently moved to LA hopefully to be his long term home & will join a stacked core that will really help his development as the Mamba are willing to invest in his development, the 6'11" lengthy forward will look to play both forward positions as of this writing.

"J-Mo (Morris), has been on our list of prospects we would want to develop. We were high on him during his draft year as we believed that he has high potential that has yet been tapped. He will fit right in w/ our core as we recalibrate our system for another run for the 'chip this coming season," GM Jerron Grace said about the acquisition of Morris.
