Key starter in SG Donny Harrison have been extended by the Los Angeles Mamba, the 6'4" wing came to LA as part of the Abraham Hirsch deal that changed the tide of the team's season. The defensive wing posted career-best numbers posting 19.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.8 apg & 3 spg in the regular season & stepped up in the playoffs posting 21.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.5 apg & 2.8 spg helping MVP Hollywood Rob Scott to notch the Mamba's 1st ever championship.
"I'm happy to stay in LA, this is home now. This is quite the season, we went into the season just focused on what's to come. We have a goal & that is to compete & never back down & that has been our mantra this season. Very thankful for the entire organization for signing me back to have another go at it again, I'm ready," Harrison said about his extension.
Harrison signed a $60.9M for 3 years contract which will make him a Mamba till 2030, same contract length as fellow defensive wing Terrell Sherrill. Abraham Hirsch contract will be up until 2031 as well & there are reports that Hollywood Rob was also offered an extension as he will enter the last year of his rookie contract after this season. The Mamba is getting ready to defend their title w/ other teams has been making moves early w/ blockbuster trades left & right.
