@ Los Angeles Mamba 113-97 F In the first game of only two this sim, The Dallas Rangers squared up against the Mamba of Los Angeles. Right from the start of the game the Rangers were playing bully-ball by scoring a majority of their points from within the paint. They outscored the Mamba 58-22 from inside the paint during this match up, not to mention their 15-2 advantage in second chance points. Dallas also forced the Mamba into mistakes by forcing 17 turnovers, while they turned the ball over 13 times themselves. During this game there were only 4 lead changes, and the game was tied only once. LA’s largest lead on the night was 1 point, and the Rangers had their lead up to 24 points at its highest mark, tonight. After falling behind 41-33 after the 1st, the Mamba failed to find their offensive footing only scoring 38 points in the next two quarters, to make the score 88-71 heading into the final stanza. @ San Diego Captains 121-99 F Dallas continues to roll along with a 121-99, 22-point victory over the San Diego Captains. Just like their game against LA, they dominated the game inside the paint outscoring SD 72-44 from the paint, and dominating the second chance points total 24-10! They even won the fast break points contest as well 18-8. Similar to what seems to be their season-long MO, they sprinted out to an early 33-24 lead, before dropping the hammer defensively in the middle two quarters, outscoring SD 54-40 in those quarters. Then they coast in the 4th with a 34-35 SD lead in the 4th quarter scoring making this a 121-99 final when the buzzer sounded. This is their 3rd win a row, and 8th in their last 10 games.
